Set in the heart of the Cinquantenaire Park, the museum offers visitors a rich and varied view on our past from Prehistory to the 20th century

Step in and plunge into the Antiquity collection, evoking ancient civilisations such as Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece and Rome.

  • Decorative European Arts
The Art Industries retrace the major artistic trends that were developed in Europe from the 10th century to the present day. Tapestries, altarpieces, lace, silver and porcelain display the splendour of the European culture.
  • Non-European collections
A veritable invitation to journey through Micronesia and Polynesia to India, South-East Asia, China and Precolumbian America.
  • National Archaeology
Artifacts from Prehistoric times to the Merovingian period.
