Musee du Fourneau Saint-Michel: Museum of Iron and Ancient Metalwork

- Opening Dates
The Fourneau Saint-Michel comprises two museums: the section dedicated to metalwork and the open air section. The extraordinary collections of the Museum of Iron allow for numerous temporary exhibitions.
Following the success of "Marmites, cocottes et compagnie" (Pots, casseroles and company) and the book under the same title, the metalwork section has gone back to its original purpose. Iron work is back to its old shine in the exhibition "Faut l'fer" (literally: "It must be done", with a pun on the word "fer" that sounds like "faire": to do)The Museum of Rural life in Wallonia, on the other hand, is a reconstruction of the dwellings and rural activities in Wallonia during the 19th century.
